Dylan Lind is a New Zealander of Cook Island/European descent. He was born in Auckland in 1979 and graduated from Elam School of Fine Arts with a BFA in 2001.
In Scatter, his most recent body of work, Lind has compressed the mixed media of previous exhibitions and created painterly works suggesting both the craft of Pacific Tivaevae and the ordered chaos of the neo-expressionists.
